Madhya Pradesh State Established on 1st November 1959 under State Reorganization Act 1959.

Established after combining the following Areas:

1. Mahakoshal Region
2. Madhya Bharat State
3. Vindhya Pradesh
4. Sironj Tahsil (Earlier in Rajasthan)
5. Bhopal State

Following revenue System Existed

Malguzars in Mahakoshal Region, given Ownership rights by British in 1858.
First Land Revenue Act passed in 1857, there after in 1917.
Malguzars were bound to pay 50% of recovery of land revenue.

5th to 16th June 1972: The UN Conference on Human Environment and Development at Stockholm in 1972 is considered to be the Magna Carta of Environmental Protection.

A summit to reduce global warming was held on December 1, 1997 in Kyoto City of Japan and an agreement to this effect was also signed. This summit was attended by the representatives of 159 countries. This agreement is popularly known as Kyoto Protocol or Kyoto Thermal Treaty. The following are main items of this historic agreement:
