Established after combining the following Areas:

  2. Madhya Bharat State
  3. Vindhya Pradesh
  4. Sironj Tahsil (Earlier in Rajasthan)
  5. Bhopal State

Following revenue System Existed

Malguzars in Mahakoshal Region, given Ownership rights by British in 1858.
First Land Revenue Act passed in 1857, there after in 1917.
Malguzars were bound to pay 50% of recovery of land revenue.

A summit to reduce global warming was held on December 1, 1997 in Kyoto City of Japan and an agreement to this effect was also signed.
